My family stayed at Fisherman’s Landing.
We came in with zero expectations, we found this campground online and thought we would give it a shot. We were coming into the area to hang with my brother over at the marina on the other side of the lake. So we knew we wouldn’t be at our site for long periods of time.
Coming in TH around 5:20pm we missed check in but they had paper ready for us up by the office. It’s a beautiful gated campground. Our site was pull through with plenty of space! Hooking up was easy!! After dinner, a seasonal camper stopped by and offered a ride in their golf cart for our kids and myself. They showed us around and gave a little background which was so nice and personal. We deeply appreciate it
The campground was very clean, the bathrooms were super clean, the showers were super clean. We were very pleased!!

Fisherman’s Landing is a true gem! We have enjoyed a delightful experience here on the lakeshore in Muskegon. The campground is so near to all the best that Muskegon has to offer…the bike trail is literally right outside the entrance; the farmers market is within walking/biking distance ; and the downtown area, with the beautiful Frauenthal Theater, convention center, numerous pubs and restaurants, and historic Hackley Library and Hackley House are also a short bike ride away.
The water access for Muskegon Lake is perfect…a small lakeside area with shallow water is great for slipping our kayak into the water from shore, or for setting out on a paddleboard.
Best of all, the owners, Kevin and Kay Wright, and their staff, keep the campground in beautiful condition all season long. The restrooms/showers are always super clean, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the lots are spacious, most with trees and plantings. The owners and staff are friendly, attentive and conscientious, and we always feel welcome! Fisherman’s Landing is our home away from home.
