What kind of hookups/amenities do the campsites have?
RV sites include electricity (30 & 50 amp), water, picnic table, and fire ring. Tent sites are available with electricity.
The dump station is available during office hours and is free to registered campers. No draining of grey water or dumping sewage onto the ground. Use proper containment and empty at the waste station near the office.

What kind of campsites do you have?
All campsites are back-in only, with the exception of a pull-through.
Extra tents are only allowed on certain sites, and at an additional nightly charge. If you do not indicate your intent for an extra tent at time of reservation, it may not be available upon your arrival.
We have 105 campsites including 30 & 50 amp RV sites, waterfront, pull-through, patio, and electric tent sites. We can accommodate up to 45-foot RVs.

Does the campground allow you to book a specific site or are sites assigned at check-in?
Reservation dates are guaranteed however, specific sites are not. We do not guarantee any specific site number or type of site. Requests will be noted but are not a guarantee or acceptance. Your reservation only guarantees you a site that accommodates the camping unit you indicated at time of reservation.
All site determinations will be made in the best interest of the campground, and that accommodate the majority of our guests. All site assignments will be given at time of check-in.

What are your rates?

Do you have season site, weekly/long term rate plans, RV club membership discounts, or military discounts that would apply to my stay?
We do not offer any type of discount program. We have short term and monthly rates. Please see our Campground page for current short term rates and contact us to discuss monthly rates.
Electrical usage may be charged on seasonal and monthly rentals.

Is there an age limit on RVs?
Our park does not have a “10-year rule”. We welcome all trailers in good condition.

What is the campground’s pet policy?
Two (non-aggressive) pets per site are permitted. All pets must be licensed, with up-to-date vaccinations. Pets must be kept on a physical leash attached to a human or stationary object at all times.
Pets are not allowed inside the campground office, restroom facilities or playground areas. Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in the dumpster. Excessive barking will not be tolerated.
Management reserves the right to determine aggressive and/or exotic pets and restrict accordingly.

What is the campground’s firewood policy?
We sell firewood on site, or you may bring in your own. Fires are allowed in fire pits only. No burning of items made with nails or staples (pallets, skids, etc.) are allowed. Please extinguish fires before leaving the campsite or retiring for the night.

Do you offer trash pick-up?
No, garbage service is not provided. Please use plastic bags and take your own garbage to the dumpster located near the security gate. Please breakdown all boxes.
Do not dispose of garbage in restroom containers. Do not leave trash at your campsite or in your firepit. Burning trash or disposing of waste in firepits is prohibited.
A site cleanup fee may be accessed if, upon departure, you have left debris at your site.

Do you have shower/laundry facilities?
We have a clean and modern bathhouse with 5 private shower stalls, separate men and women restroom areas, and coin operated washer/dryer. Please follow posted laundry rules and help keep facilities clean by cleaning up after yourself.

What is your check in and out times?
Check-in time is 1:00 pm. Check-out time is by noon. These rules are strictly enforced to allow park personnel time to maintain sites.
Early check-ins will not be allowed so keep this in mind when you are choosing your dates and plan accordingly. Register by 11:00 am if you would like to extend your visit. Those not checking out on time may be charged an additional night’s stay.

How are late check-ins handled?
If you find that you will not be able to arrive until after our office closes, you may contact us by phone at 231-726-6100 to arrange for a late arrival.

Can we reserve more than one site at a time for a group of families that want to camp together?
We do our best to keep groups together as much as possible. If you wish to be part of a group, choose one group leader name for the entire group. No more than 8 total people allowed per site.

Does the campground have a strict quiet code of conduct?
Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. All noise must be kept to a minimum.
The Playground is closed during quiet time. Children under 16 must be back at their own site by 10:00 pm.
Disruptive noise, abusive language or conduct will not be permitted at any time.

What is your Change and Cancellation Policy?
Deposits are non-refundable & non-transferrable. If you need to subtract nights from your stay, you must make the adjustment at least 14 days in advance of your arrival date. If you do not give the proper notice, you will be expected to pay for those nights, as we are holding the site for you. Checking out prior to the scheduled departure date will result in the forfeiture of lot rental.

Is your campground safe?
We are a secured campground. An entrance gate is provided for your security. A gate key or code is required to enter.

Can I rent a boat slip?
We do not have boat slips. The dock in the campground is free for registered campers only, on first come, first served basis, every time you approach the dock. Guests may tie up, free of charge, on the pavilion dock for a visit by notifying management. In addition, friends and relatives may not store their boats at the campground dock nor inside the campground.

Are boat launch fees included in camping fees?
No, the boat launch is adjacent to the campground but the launch fee is separate from the camping fee.
The boat launch has 7 sheltered, deep water, launches allowing for vessels up to 30’ on a trailer with 1 or 2 axels, and a kayak launch. A handicap lift is also available.

Do you have Wi-Fi?
We offer basic, complimentary Wi-Fi service which allows access to email, banking, internet and social media. Access is limited and not guaranteed. No streaming allowed. It will not support Netflix, Skype, Ring or other applications that use a great deal of bandwidth. System will monitor and slow your connection.

Do you have a campground store?
We do not have an onsite camp store but ice is available on site for an additional fee.

Do you have a fish cleaning station?
Yes, for a nominal fee. The fish cleaning station should be used to clean all fish. Fish cleaning at campsites is not allowed and could result in eviction.

Can we receive mail there?
No, we do not allow mail or packages to be delivered or picked up at the park or office. Any packages received will be sent back to the sender.

Do you allow golf carts or ATV’s?
Golf carts are allowed on main roads only. Drivers must be 18 or older. No quads or off-road vehicles allowed. You must observe our 7 mph speed limit, drive carefully and watch for children.

Do you charge for visitors?
There is no charge for visitors. The registered camper accepts full responsibility for the conduct of guests. Guests may not spend the night without registering at the office. No visitors, including RV mobile repair services, are allowed in the park unless accompanied by the registered camper. Subleasing, transferring or assigning a campsite to another person is prohibited.

Do you have overflow parking for additional vehicles/boat trailers/car haulers?
No more than two (2) motor vehicles allowed per campsite. The dry storage area is for boats and utility trailers only; one (1) item allowed per site, and first come, first served. Extra vehicles may park in the parking lot. No parking in streets, grass, or vacant lots.

Do you have a beach?
We are located at the east end of Muskegon Lake, with easy access to Lake Michigan. We do not have a swimming area, but Pere Marquette Beach is only 4 miles away with the Lakeshore Bike Trail just adjacent to the campground.

Do you offer rentals? (Cabin, camper, golf carts, boat, kayak, bike, etc.)
We do not offer any type of rentals although there are many local businesses that offer rentals of all types.

Do you have any picnic shelters for large groups or tournaments?
A rental pavilion is available for day-use. Please call our office at (231) 726-6100 to reserve or check availability.

Can I make a reservation for next year?
Reservations for the following year start July 1st of the current year.
